Enjoy Beach Hotel Review, Fisherman’s Village, Koh Samui, Thailand

Our first stop after a long flight via Singapore was at the Enjoy Beach Hotel in Fisherman’s Village in Bophut. We chose this hotel because of it’s location and the sea view.

We arrived tired and sweaty after a long flight via Singapore at about 10 am, and unfortunately check in wasn’t until 1. However the staff were very accommodating and as soon as the previous guest checked out at 1100 they cleaned the room and we were in about 1115. Normally we unpack as soon as we arrive but we both just crashed out!

The room at the Enjoy Beach Hotel

We booked a Standard Double Room with Sea View and we were not disappointed the view was stunning! Our room 5 was a very large room with a comfortable bed and kitchenette area with a kettle, coffee and tea provided. There is a large refrigerator with a huge freezer compartment ideal for freezing your water bottles to take to the beach. Two complimentary bottles of water were provided each day.

The ensuite bathroom was a wet room, which to be honest we are not a fan of as everything seems to get wet, but it served its purpose, the shower was very strong and hot. Shampoo, shower gel, soap, and cotton buds were provided.

Air conditioning is available and also a fan. There are lots of plug sockets so charging electronics was not a problem at all. There was an in room safe and wardrobe with plenty of hangers. There was two seats but no table which was a little strange as there was plenty of room to put one. TV had a good selection of channels in English.

Our room at Enjoy Beach Hotel

Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is not a lift, so if you have mobility problems then the Enjoy Beach Hotel would not be suitable.

Balcony was very small with air con unit taking up the left side and only a bar stool type chair to the right which was a shame as it was a perfect spot to sit out but couldn’t do it comfortably together. The views from the room at Bophut and over to Koh phangan were exceptional though and we never drew the curtains!

WiFi at the Enjoy Beach Hotel

WiFi was fast and excellent through out the hotel and room.

Restaurant and Bar at the Enjoy Beach Hotel

The Enjoy Beach Hotel has a bar and restaurant with a lovely sea view, we had a few drinks here and the service was excellent. Food was expensive but looked very good, it certainly is a great setting for a treat and options of sitting on the beach if you wished.

The beach at Fisherman’s Village

It is a beautiful beach but does have sharp sand so beach shoes are essential. Check out our accessories page here.

There are some other beautiful beaches not far from Fisherman’s Village so do check out our post showing you around the beaches of Koh Samui.

Location of the Enjoy Beach Hotel

This hotel is in a perfect location on the main street in Fisherman’s Village close to the bars and restaurants..

Fisherman’s is a popular area and has a French influence. It is a great area to explore however can get frustrating due to no pavements and having to walk on the road, dodging the cars and mopeds does get a bit frustrating.

Check out Emeralds Irish Bar for live music and the Frog and Gecko Pub quiz night on a Wednesday and Happy hour 5-8 every day.

The Friendly Frog restaurant is a great choice and we had some excellent meals here. If you walk towards the main entrance and huge Fisherman’s Village sign you will see it on the left.

Paul’s favourite Tempura Prawns

The Hut which is another fantastic restaurant which is the other end of Fisherman’s Village, with the sea behind you walk to the left end of Fisherman’s Village and you will find it there.

Fisherman’s Village is famous for it’s Friday Night Market which is excellent, so make sure you include a Friday in your stay.

Verdict of the Enjoy Beach Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Enjoy Beach. The location is excellent right in the centre of Fishermans Village, the WiFi is excellent and the sea views really are amazing. There isn’t a swimming pool but the sea is just on your doorstep. For exploring Fishermas Village, it really is an ideal place to stay.
