Fabulous Food
Where do we start, so many fabulous food options and cheap too! We were very nervous about trying the street food when we first visited Thailand, however now we love it. Make sure you pick a hawker stall that is busy and used by the locals and you won’t look back. There are restaurants to satisfy all budgets however we have had the best meals sat on plastic stools so don’t be afraid to venture to those restaurants that look very basic and take away’s are a good option too!

Interesting Culture and Traditions
The official religion of Thailand is Buddhism and there are plenty of opportunities to learn more about this fascinating religion, there are numerous temples to visit and buddhism/meditation courses can be easily found. It is really important to respect these and other traditions when travelling to Thailand. More information can be found here.

Being pampered in the UK is an expensive hobby, however in Thailand it is far more affordable, in fact it is very cheap about £6 for an hour massage. Having a foot or back and shoulder massage is one of our daily treats.

Wonderful people – it certainly is the land of the smiles
We have met some amazing people on our travels to Thailand, they are so happy and you will always be greeted with a smile. They don’t always have a lot but their generosity is very humbling.
