We have now cruised 11 times and get away with our 80 year old Dad’s when we can. This photo was taken on a cruise this summer along the Adriatic Coast. The Island of Korcula, in Croatia was beautiful and this shot was taken from the tender as we were taken ashore from the Thomson Celebration Cruise Ship. You can read about our cruising adventures here.

We were on a cruise to the Canary Islands on the Independence of the Seas and one of the ports of call was Las Palmas in Gran Canaria. This building was just opposite the port, we loved the colours of the building and the unusual nose from an airplane in the background, so couldn’t refuse a shot. You can read about our cruising adventures here.

Colourful building and an airplane nose in Las Palmas! #gran #canaria #island

We visited Koh Talu a tiny island off the coast of Thailand and found this swing on the beach. We spent one night here and it is still probably the closest we have got to having that Robinson Crusoe experience, it was superb. We have visited Thailand many times and you can read about our experiences here.

Whilst staying on Koh Samui, Thailand at the Baan Sijan Villa Resort, our hosts Simon and Janya introduced us to Nikki Beach. We have now been back 3 times and love a day of indulgence! You can read all about Nikki Beach here.

As a special treat for my 50th birthday we stayed at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. This photo was taken in the Marina Bay area where the famous Merlion statue can be found. Singapore is a fantastic place and we would definitely recommend a visit. Our stay at the Marina Bay Sands still remains one of the best nights of our lives, you can read all about that here.

This was taken on a night out in Cheltenham only 6 miles away from our home city of Gloucester. We were heading to the Taylors Pub to listen to some live music and witnessed this fantastic sunset. The added bonus was the car that came round the corner just as the photo was taken.

Your top 10 are so awesome! all these views and places across the globe! <3

Made me to google Koh Talu! Thailand is an amazing country… years ago I´ve been to Surin Beach in Phuket and it was the most relaxing vacation I´ve ever had ( far from Robinson Crusoe experience though), but the hotel was so quiet, full of bungalows inside the rainforest and the whole beach was for the guests only – so we were there almost alone all the time with these white sands, blue waters and exotic fruits… was like going to heaven and back to Earth
