Review of the Koskinou House Restaurant, Kalithea Avenue, Rhodes.
We found the Koskinou House Restaurant on our first night in Rhodes, Greece. We were staying at the Castello Di Rodi Hotel which was only 5 minutes walk away.
We enjoyed it so much we ate there 4 out of the 7 nights of our stay. The restaurant is in an elevated position with views out on to the street, and over to the Parrot Bar.
The main outside area was very clean, simply decorated and with a vine decorating the roof. There was a small childrens area towards the back of the restaurant, which did not disturb the restaurant. We do appreciate a well maintained toilet and we were not disappointed, the toilets were of a good standard and clean.
The menu at the Koskinou House Restaurant was extensive including all the traditional greek dishes, we sampled lamb chops, mixed grill, greek plate, stifado, and greek salads. Thehe meats we ate here were some of the best we have ever had!
Main meals were very reasonable priced between 6 and 12 euros, they also did a set menu which included a starter, main and dessert for 10 euro’s. Every meal we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the complementary cheesy garlic bread and melon went down a treat.
The bar prices at the Koskinou House Restaurant was also very reasonable with a glass of wine being 2 euros and a mythos beer 2 euros 50 cents.
The service was exceptional, Georgios and the other waiters made us feel so welcome and it was hard to leave come the end of the night. This is an excellent restaurant and we would definitely recommend you visit.
