We cruised on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship twice in 2021 on Queen Victoria in 2022 and on Queen Mary 2 in 2022 and 2023 and often get asked ‘How much do the drinks cost on Cunard?’ and ‘Do Cunard have Drinks Packages?’.

Can you take your own alcohol on a Cunard Cruise Ship?
It is good to know that Cunard do allow alcohol to be taken on board. Each person can take one bottle of wine or champagne that can be consumed in your cabin free of charge. However, if you want to drink it in one of the bars or restaurants then you will be charged with a $25 corkage fee.

How much are Cocktails on Cunard Cruise Ships?
As you would expect from Cunard their cocktail menu is incredibly extensive.
Prices range from $10.00 up to $17.00 and if they don’t have it on the menu (which would be a big surprise) they will do their best to make it for you. Here are some common cocktail prices –

Wines Beers Ciders and Spirits are the same price on room service as they are on the rest of the ship.

Choice of 1 bottle of premium spirits and 12 mixers with a complimentary snack $100.00
Is the Drinks Package worth it on Cunard?
Drinks packages can only be purchased on cruise of 5 nights and longer and can be purchased from when you book until the first 2 days on board. There are currently 4 types of drinks package available on cruises with Cunard, you can have up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day and it covers drinks up to $12.
Beers, Wines and Spirits option – $72
This package costs $72 per person per day, includes up to 15 up to the cost of $13.50 per serving. This includes a selection of beers including craft beers, wines by the glass, spirits, liquors and cocktails. This also includes the benefits of the premium soft drinks package. If you do want a drink over $13.50 then you will receive 20% off, some bottles of wine and large bottles of water.
Premium Soft Drinks Package – $36
This includes a range of soft drinks, bottled water, non alcoholic cocktails, squeezed juices and speciality coffees. There is also a 20% reduction in drinks not included in the package. There is no limit of amount of drinks per day.
Speciality Hot Drinks Package – $13.50
Hot chocolate, Tea Forté infusions and iffy speciality coffees. There is no limit on amount of drinks per day
Soft Drinks Option – $10.80
This includes draught soft drinks, selected fruit juices, squash and cordials. There is no limit on amounts of drinks per day.
